Fire-bellied newt

The Fire-bellied newt (Cynops pyrrhogaster pyrrhogaster) is an amphibian that lives in the ponds, stream pools and lakes of Japan. They eat aquatic invertebrates and are nocturnal.

If nothing befalls the Fire-bellied newt, they'll live around 25 years.
